Preserves are beautiful batches of tradition sealed up in individual bottles of goodness. Most of us can think of a loved one who “puts up” the most amazing beets, or dills or mustard pickles. A lot of the time you have to convince them you are worthy of gifting the treat to but love and friendship often allows for sharing and trading.
